Thangaraj Bricks

Thangaraj Bricks is located at 10C, Kulakkga Street in the Perugari Paliyam area. It’s a narrow street, so it can be a bit of a challenge when the big trucks come in to load up. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. Making bricks is what we do, and we do it right here on our site. It’s hard work, especially with the heat we get here. We don't have any big offices or fancy reception areas. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of red dust and busy with the kilns. We use the traditional ways of firing the bricks because that’s what we know best. It’s a slow process, but you can’t really rush the fire or the drying time. Most of our customers are locals from around Perugari Paliyam who are building small houses or boundary walls. We don't have a website or a big sales team. People just hear about us from their family or friends. We try to be fair with everyone and keep our stacks organized so we know what’s ready to go. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people. We don't make big claims; we just work the soil and the fire every day until the job is done and the sun goes down.
