Revathy Granites

Our place is at number 1 in Gandhi Nagar. It is a pretty straightforward setup we have here. If you come by, you will see the slabs leaning against each other. Granite is what we do, and it is a lot of lifting and moving. The sun gets hot in the afternoons, and the yard can feel like it is baking. We spend most of our time checking the edges of the stone and making sure the measurements are right. It is a lot of physical work, honestly. My hands are usually rough from the grit. We have been in this spot for some time, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the trucks arriving early in the morning. Sometimes we sit outside on old plastic chairs during the break. There is always someone asking about a specific shade of grey or black stone. We do not have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just the yard and a small office where we keep the books. We try to stay on top of the orders, but sometimes the rain slows things down. When it pours, we have to cover everything up quickly. It is a simple life, focused on the weight and the texture of the material we handle every single day. Gandhi Nagar is quiet mostly, except when we are loading up a big order for a customer. We just do what we can with the tools we have and the space available.
