Shri Ram Traders

You can find Shri Ram Traders out in Prithvipur, right along National Highway 12. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of movement and people passing by our doors. We get a lot of dust from the highway traffic, so we spend a fair amount of time cleaning the front of the shop. We handle a variety of goods and the stock changes quite often based on what people are looking for. It is a practical kind of place where we keep things simple and functional. The heat can get pretty intense during the summer months since we are right out there near the road, but we have a couple of fans going to keep things moving. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things get loaded and unloaded properly. People traveling on the highway often stop in if they need something quickly. We've been in Prithvipur for a good stretch of time and we know the rhythms of the bus schedules by heart now. The shelves are mostly full of hardware and trading supplies that are useful for the local farms and houses nearby. It is hard work sometimes, especially when a big shipment comes in at the same time as a crowd of customers, but we get through it. We just try to keep things honest and make sure the items people buy are what they expected when they walked in.
