Yakta Builders And Developers Private Limited operates out of Koothuparambil House in Kuttur. We’re tucked away in Thrissur, and it’s a good place to be for the kind of work we do. Building houses and developing small plots of land is what fills our calendar. Most of the time, we’re dealing with the local rain and trying to keep our materials dry. It’s a family-style setup, really. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to get a wall built and how to handle the local permits. Thrissur is a busy place, but Kuttur feels a bit more grounded. We like it that way. When we started, we didn't have much, and now we have a few more projects on the go, but we still work out of the same house. The walls of the office are covered in old photos and half-finished sketches. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to actually get some thinking done. We don't try to sound like we’re the biggest company around because we aren't. We’re just local people who know how to put bricks together. If a project takes a bit longer because the truck broke down, we just tell it like it is. It’s a messy business, construction, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we’re used to the dust and the noise. It’s just how we make a living.
