Woodbriar Group

The office is located in a house called Rajarajeswari on Vaniyan Lane in the Punkunnam area of Thrissur. It feels more like a home than a business place, which is how we like it. The street is usually quiet, except for the occasional scooter passing by or the sound of the rain hitting the roof. We handle all the Woodbriar Group affairs from here, dealing with everything from land stuff to the tea side of things. There’s a lot of history in this part of Kerala, and you can feel it when you’re walking through the old lanes. Inside, there are stacks of files and the phone rings pretty often with calls from people out in the field. We spend most of our time keeping track of what’s happening at the different locations and making sure the administration doesn't fall behind. It isn't a high-pressure environment with people running around in a panic. It’s more about a steady pace and getting the details right. We’ve been at this 36/680 address for quite a while now. Most of the staff live nearby, so there’s a lot of local talk about the weather or the local festivals while we work. It’s a simple setup where we just try to stay organized and keep the group’s operations moving forward without any unnecessary drama. It’s just a regular office in a regular neighborhood, doing the work that needs to be done every day.
