White Space Chits Private Limited

White Space Chits Private Limited is based out of Buhara Srambikkal House in Kattuvattur, Desamangalam. This is in the Thrissur district. Our office is actually in a house, which makes it feel very different from those cold offices in the big cities. It has a very personal feel to it. When people come in, they aren't entering some glass tower; they are coming into a space that feels like home. We handle chit funds, which is a big part of life for many people in this village. We sit around the main room and talk to the members about their contributions and the auctions. There is no pretense here. We use simple tables and the lighting is just what you would find in any regular Kerala home. Outside, you can see the trees and hear the birds, which makes for a nice working environment. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit or use handheld fans, but nobody really complains. It is part of living in Desamangalam. We know the families around here and they trust us because we are part of the same neighborhood. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just talk to people face to face and handle the money with care. It is a traditional way of doing things that still works.
