Vishraam Builders

We are located at Kaippilly House along Jawahar Road. If you are heading through Anchery, it is not too hard to find us near the Kuriachira post office area. Trichur is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. The office is basically part of the house, which makes things feel a bit more relaxed than those big glass buildings in the city. We have a couple of old fans that hum all day long to keep the Kerala humidity away. There is always a pot of tea going in the back room somewhere. Dealing with cement and bricks and labor schedules takes up most of our time here at Vishraam Builders. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy that everything has to stop for a few hours, and we just sit and watch the water run down the driveway. The trees around the house provide some good shade, which is nice when we are talking to people about their house plans. We keep things pretty simple. No one wears a suit here. It is mostly just casual shirts and a lot of mud on our boots from visiting sites. We have been operating out of this spot for years and the walls are covered with old calendars and maps of the local plots. It’s a busy life but it’s a good one. Most of our day is just making calls and looking at site photos.
