You can find us on the first floor of the Manichitra Arcade on Veliyannur Road. We have units 21 and 22. Being on the first floor means we are away from the street level noise, which is a bit of a relief because Veliyannur Road can get quite hectic with all the bikes and cars. The arcade has its own rhythm, and we are just one part of it. We mostly deal with clothing and fashion supplies. Our rooms are filled with racks and tables where we sort through everything. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have big signs or flashy lights outside. People usually find us because they’re looking for something specific. Most of our day involves checking the state of the items coming in and making sure they are packed correctly for wherever they’re going next. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we get a bit of a workout every time we go out for lunch. The space inside is mostly functional. We try to keep it organized, but when a new shipment arrives, things can get a bit messy for a few hours. We’ve been operating from this arcade for a while and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a decent community of working people just trying to get through the week. No drama, just work.
