You can find us at Valiyangadi Arcade, right near Cathedral Junction in Irinjalakuda. The address is 581-A 15, and it’s a busy little corner of Thrissur. Being at the junction means there is a lot of traffic and the sound of bells from the cathedral nearby. Valiyangadi Nidhi Limited has its space here among other shops and businesses. The arcade is a bit of a maze if you haven't been here before. Our office is simple, with tiled floors that we try to keep clean despite all the feet walking in and out. We have a few computers and a lot of binders full of records. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have some fans that help a bit. Most of the people who come in are from the neighborhood or farmers from just outside town. We spend our mornings going through the mail and checking the books. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady work. We often go downstairs to get snacks from the street vendors during our afternoon break. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. We all just pitch in and do what needs doing. The building has seen some years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in Irinjalakuda.
