Vaidyaratnam Agency Clinic

This clinic is tucked away in Pallivalavu, which is part of Mathilakam. It is not on a main highway or in a big shopping mall. It’s more of a local spot where people from the village and nearby areas come when they need traditional medicine. The building is simple, just like everything else around here. We don't have any neon signs or big advertisements. Most people know us by the Vaidyaratnam name, as we have been an agency here for quite some time. The surroundings are quite green, and it stays relatively quiet compared to the bigger towns. Inside, you will find rows of bottles and packets on the wooden shelves. The smell of dried herbs is quite strong when you first walk in, but you get used to it quickly. We open the doors early in the morning because that’s when most of our patients like to visit before they head off to their own work. There is a small veranda where people can sit if the inside gets too full. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; if someone arrives a bit late and we are still around, we talk to them. It’s a community thing. We know the families around Mathilakam and we’ve seen the kids grow up. There’s no need for fancy talk here. We just provide what we have and hope it helps people feel better in their daily lives. It’s a peaceful way to work.
