Thrissur Builders is located over at Kallikadan House on R S Road in Irinjalakuda. This is where Nijo Joy and the rest of the team handle the daily operations for this branch in the Thrissur district. Irinjalakuda is a busy town and R S Road always has something going on, so there is plenty of noise from the street coming into our front office. We are just a small group and we do not really go for the polished, high-end look you see in some of those big city firms. Our office has regular wooden desks and a lot of folders that always seem to need sorting. We deal with people from all over Kerala who want to build something solid and long-lasting. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to contractors about why certain things are taking longer than they should. It is a lot of practical problem-solving and dealing with the unexpected. We do not have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, check our messages, and try to make some progress on whatever project is currently under construction. The Kerala climate means we are always worrying about the rain or the humidity, but that is just part of the job here. Kallikadan House is where we keep all the records and where we meet people to talk about their future plans.
