Tea Powder In Thrissur

Our place is right near the Ajwua Super Market in Ayyanthole. People usually use the supermarket as a landmark to find us. We’ve been in this part of Thrissur for a while now. It’s mostly about tea powder here. We get these big sacks delivered and then we have to sort through everything. Aripalam is a nice enough spot, though it gets really humid during the monsoon months. That’s when we have to be extra careful with the storage so the powder doesn't get damp. It’s just a few of us working here. We don’t have a big corporate setup or anything. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the orders to worry about that. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of tea dust by the end of the shift. It’s honest work. We see the same faces every week coming in for their supply. Sometimes we stand outside the door just to get some fresh air when the shop feels too small. The neighbors are friendly, and we all kind of look out for each other. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the tea and getting it out to the people in Ayyanthole. It’s been a steady life for us so far, and we don't mind the long hours at the counter at all.
