Tajas Cctv is a small operation based at 9G in Thrissur. We don’t have a massive warehouse or a fleet of trucks. It’s just a few of us working out of this space to help people get their cameras set up. Thrissur is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone, so we rely a lot on people telling their neighbors about the work we do. Our office is filled with coils of wire, different kinds of lenses, and boxes of power supplies. It can get a bit messy when we have several jobs going on at once. The weather here can be quite tough with the heavy rains, so we spend a lot of time making sure all our outdoor installations are completely waterproof. We usually start our day early with a coffee and a quick chat about which sites we need to visit. Most of our tools are kept in the back of an old van that we use to get around. We aren't interested in being a corporate giant; we just want to do a decent job so people feel okay about their home security. Sometimes we have to climb onto some pretty high roofs, which can be a bit scary when the wind picks up. We try to keep things simple and explain how the systems work without using a lot of technical words that nobody understands. It’s just us, working hard in Thrissur every day.
