Susil & Company

We have been at Padoor House for quite a while now. It is located in the Padoor Post area of Thrissur, so things are usually pretty quiet compared to the bigger cities in Kerala. The office is basically just a part of the house, which makes it feel less like a stuffy workplace and more like somewhere you can actually sit and think. Most mornings start with a bit of cleaning up before the sun gets too high in the sky. We handle all our daily business from here. You might see some of us out on the porch talking or just waiting for a courier to arrive. It is not a big fancy operation with hundreds of people running around in suits. It is just us. Sometimes the monsoon rain gets really loud on the roof and we have to pause whatever we are doing because we cannot hear each other. We know most of the neighbors and they know us. People around Thrissur usually find us without too much trouble if they know the local landmarks. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. Work comes in, we deal with it, and then we go home. It is a very straightforward way to run things. We like the slow pace of this area. If you stop by, you will find a couple of chairs tucked in the corner and some old files stacked on the side. It is not always perfectly organized, but it works for us. That is just how Susil & Company has always been since we started.
