Sumesh Krishnan

My name is Sumesh Krishnan and I run things from my place, Lakshmi Nilayam, which is over in Kallur-North. It’s a quiet area near Annamanada here in Thrissur district. Living and working in the same spot means I don't have to deal with a commute, which is nice, but the work still piles up on the desk just the same. Most of what I do involves handling local requests and keeping track of whatever project is currently on the go. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just me and a bit of help when things get really busy during the harvest seasons or when local demand picks up. My house is easy to find if you know the neighborhood well enough. People around here usually know where Lakshmi Nilayam is. It's a typical Kerala setting with plenty of greenery around, though the rain can sometimes make getting around a bit of a mess. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing tasks for the week ahead. It’s a simple way of working. I don’t have a flashy office or a team of secretaries. Just a room where I keep my files and a laptop. That’s really all it takes to keep things moving. I’ve lived here a long time, so I know the locals and how things work in this part of Thrissur. It’s honest work. Sometimes neighbors stop by, and we talk for a bit before I get back to the paperwork.
