Ssquare Designers

Ssquare Designers has been in Perumpilavu for some time now. We handle a lot of different design tasks, mostly for local folks who need something specific for their house or business. The shop is usually filled with papers, samples, and rulers scattered across the tables. It gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we know where everything is. Perumpilavu is a good area to be in, people are friendly and they usually stop to chat for a minute even if they don't need anything designed that day. We didn't start this to get rich, we just liked drawing and making things look a certain way. Sometimes we stay late because the lighting is better in the evening, or maybe just because we lost track of time. It's not a fancy studio with air conditioning that works all the time, but it’s ours. We use some old software and some new stuff, whatever gets the job done correctly. Sometimes a customer brings in a rough sketch on a napkin and we have to turn that into something real. That’s the fun part of being here. We see a lot of different ideas come through the door. Some are easy and some take a lot of head-scratching. We just take it day by day and keep the coffee pot going. It can be stressful when deadlines get close, but we always find a way to finish.
