Even though our name says Soma Enterprise Limited, Bangalore, we are actually based out of Pullazhy in Thrissur, Kerala. It’s a bit of a strange mix, but that’s just how the company grew over time. Our office is in a quiet spot under the 680012 pin code. It is a lot different than the fast life of Bangalore. Here, things feel a bit more grounded and calm. We have a small team that manages the daily office work from this location. Most of the work involves keeping track of projects and making sure the paperwork side of things is solid. The building is surrounded by some greenery, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. We don't have a big HR department or a PR firm writing our stuff for us. We just write down what we do and leave it at that. The staff speaks a mix of languages, and we usually have some local snacks around the office like banana chips. We deal with various tasks that come our way, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always find our way through the pile of work eventually. It’s a practical way of living. We focus on the task at hand without much fuss or drama. If someone asks what we do, we just show them our records. Being in Thrissur gives us a different perspective than being in a massive tech city. We like the balance we have here in the village.
