The Rice Bazar is a lively place, always filled with the sounds of people trading and moving goods. It can be a bit chaotic with all the narrow streets and the different shops selling everything you can think of. Our place is a bit crowded because of all the bottles we have to store and move. We try to keep them organized, but when a new shipment comes in, it feels like bottles are everywhere. The school nearby means there are lots of kids and parents around in the mornings and afternoons, so you have to be careful when moving things in and out. It’s a very local feel here. Everyone knows everyone else’s business, and we often chat with the other shop owners nearby. Our door is usually open to let in some air, even if it means a bit of dust comes in too. It’s not a corporate office by any means; it’s a working warehouse and shop. We spend our days counting stock and getting orders ready for people who need them. It’s a simple life and a simple business, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just focus on the bottles and making sure they get where they need to go.
