We are Shabmun Food Exports Private Limited. Our place is on the ground floor of the Macare Medical Centre Building. That’s at Door No: XIII/60 in Kecheri. It’s in Thrissur. We handle food exports, so we are always thinking about what’s in season and what’s ready to be shipped out. It’s a lot of work making sure everything is fresh and moves quickly. We don't want anything sitting around for too long in our storage. The office is right there in that medical center building, which is a well-known spot for locals. We have a small staff. Most of us have been working together for years. We know each other's families and how we like our tea in the afternoon. It feels more like a small family than a big business. We deal with various food items from around the region. We have to talk to farmers and transport companies all the time to keep things moving. It gets loud in the office when everyone is on the phone at once. We don't have a fancy corporate vibe. It’s more about getting the boxes packed and the papers signed so the food can go where it’s supposed to. We just show up every morning and do the work with the orders we have. It is just a regular job for us and we enjoy it.
