Sagar Mithra Fisheries Private Limited is based out of the Nattika Beach area. Our contact point is c/o Anitha Chandrasekharan in Aruketty. Being near the beach in Triprayar is pretty much essential for what we do. Fisheries is a tough business and it depends a lot on the weather and the luck of the day. We’ve been involved in this for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy corporate job with suits and ties. We’re more likely to be wearing practical clothes and dealing with the smell of the sea. The office is just a place where we handle the logistics and the accounts. Most of the real work happens closer to the water. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than keeping the business going and making sure things are handled properly. It’s a very grounded way to live. The people working here are mostly from around the Triprayar area. We know the local coast well. Some days the catch is good and everyone is happy, and other days it’s a bit of a struggle. That’s just the nature of the fishing industry. We don’t try to sugarcoat it. We’ve been at this address for years and people know where to find us if they need to talk business. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We just take each day as it comes and try to do the best we can with what we’ve got. It's an honest living near the ocean.
