Prasanth Panachikkal Charitable Foundation

The Prasanth Panachikkal Charitable Foundation is right in Cherpu. We are at No.11/619, which is close to the Cherpu Grama Panchayath office. We are also near the Arattupuzha temple road, so it’s a very central spot in the village. You can always hear the bells from the temple and the sound of people walking to the market. Our office is small and simple. We don't have any air conditioning or expensive furniture. It’s just a place to get work done. We focus on helping the local people with whatever they need. It could be help with medical bills or getting stuff for the local school. We don't have any big corporate donors. Most of what we do comes from the community itself. People here are very generous even if they don't have much. We aren't professionals who went to school for this. We are just locals who care about our town. Sometimes we make mistakes with the scheduling, but we always try to make it right. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just here to help out our neighbors and keep the foundation going in a way that makes sense for Cherpu. It can get hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a small break for some cold water before getting back to the files. We’ve been here for years and hope to keep at it.
