Sun City

You can find Sun City over at the Pandarathil Shopping Complex on Poothole Road. Specifically, we’re at TC-12/689. It’s a busy little shopping area. There’s always someone coming or going, which makes the days go by faster. The complex has that specific smell of floor cleaner and old stone. Our spot isn't the biggest, but we make it work for us. We’ve got shelves filled with things and a counter that’s seen a lot of use over the years. Poothole Road is one of those streets that always seems to have something going on, whether it’s a delivery truck blocking the way or people just out for a walk. We know the neighbors in the other shops pretty well. We often share a quick word in the mornings when we’re opening up the shutters and getting ready for the day. It’s not a glamorous place, just a standard shop in a standard complex. We try to keep things tidy, but when it’s busy, that usually goes out the window. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and we’ve been meaning to tell the manager, but we always forget once we get inside and start working. It’s just how it is. We’re here most days, just doing our thing and seeing who walks through the door next to say hello. It's a simple routine.
