Physiotherapist

This is just me, Homi Sankar, working out of Ther Veetil House here in Chakkarapadam. It’s a quiet spot in Perinjanam, and most days I’m just busy helping people who come by with their physical troubles as a Physiotherapist. My house is easy enough to find once you get into the P.O. area. I started doing this because I saw how many people around Thrissur had back pain or needed help after an injury. I don’t have a big fancy clinic or anything like that. It’s just a room set up with what I need to do my job properly. Usually, the morning starts with a couple of neighbors dropping in. The Pin code is 680686 if you are looking at a map. Kerala weather is always something, either it is raining hard or the sun is beating down on the roof, but we just get on with it. I try to keep things simple here. There’s no big reception desk or people in suits. It is just about the work and making sure people can move a bit better than they did when they walked in. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use the windows for light. I’ve lived in this house for a long time, so everyone around knows where to find me if they need a session. It is just a regular local life here in Thrissur, doing what I can. It’s not like those big city hospitals, it’s just me and my table and the patients.
