Moonlit Arts & Crafts

People usually find us here at Paliyth in Vadama easily enough, even though the shop isn't that huge. It's mostly just a bunch of us who really like making things with our hands. We started Moonlit Arts & Crafts because there weren't many places around Mala to get the specific beads and yarns we needed for our own projects. Most days, the tables are piled high with stock that just came in, and it can look a bit messy. It’s a real working space, honestly. We spend a lot of time sorting through colors and trying to keep everything organized for the regulars who stop by after work. Sometimes the humidity makes the paper stock a bit wavy, but that’s just life here. People come in looking for something to do on a rainy afternoon or for school projects their kids forgot to mention until the last minute. We don’t have fancy displays. Most things are in plastic bins or on wooden shelves we put up ourselves. If you walk past the post office, we are just right there. It feels good to see what people make with the stuff they buy from us. Sometimes they bring back finished paintings or knitted hats to show off. It keeps the place feeling alive. It’s a quiet corner of the neighborhood, but we stay busy enough with the local crowd. Just a simple shop doing its thing every day.
