We’re located over at Mechery House in Valapad, which is a quiet spot in the Trichur district of Kerala. Our office here is the main hub for our construction operations in the region. It’s not one of those glass-and-steel corporate buildings; it’s more of a traditional place that fits into the local surroundings. Inside, things are usually a bit chaotic with maps on the walls and people discussing different building sites. We handle all the coordination for our workers and make sure the materials like sand and bricks are reaching the sites on time. Being in Kerala, we have to deal with the monsoon rains which often slow things down, so there’s always a lot of rescheduling going on. The staff here knows the local area well, and we’ve been working out of this P.O. Valapad address for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on how the builds are progressing. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication.
