Metal Cat Customs

Metal Cat Customs is our shop at 19 Mahatma Gandhi Road. We are very close to the Kottappuram Shiva Temple, which helps people find us in the middle of all the MG Road traffic. Working here means there is always a lot of noise from the cars and buses outside. We spend our time working on metal projects. It’s a small team of us who just like to build and change things. We aren’t really into the whole business side of things like marketing or slogans. We just like the smell of cut metal and the sound of the machines. The shop is often greasy and there are bits of steel everywhere. That’s just how we like it. We take on whatever customs work comes through the door. Some projects are big and take weeks, while others are just quick fixes. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people walking by. Sometimes they pop their heads in just to see what we are making. We don't mind. We just keep our heads down and focus on the welding or the cutting. It’s a basic workshop. We don't have fancy chairs for people to sit in. We just have our tools and our workbenches. If you want something custom made out of metal, this is where we do it. We are usually here until the sun goes down, just getting things finished.
