Melodia Events

Melodia Events is set up on the first floor of the Matha Building in Kuriachera. Since we deal with events, our office is usually a bit of a mess with fabric samples, flower ideas, and sketches of stage setups. It’s a lively place because there’s always someone coming in to talk about a wedding or a party they are planning. We don't have a polished showroom with lights and music. It’s mostly just us at our desks with a lot of folders. Kuriachera is a nice area, and being on the first floor gives us a good view of the street. Sometimes we are out of the office for days at a time when we are setting up at a venue. When we are here, we are usually on the phone with decorators or caterers. We try to keep things simple and honest with anyone who walks in. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't need. It’s just about making sure their day goes okay. The building itself is an older one, but it has some character. We’ve got a small kettle for tea and some biscuits for when meetings go long. It’s a very hands-on job, so we don't worry about keeping the floors spotless or the desks perfectly tidy. We just like making things happen for the local community here and staying busy.
