Our office is at V/104, Manappuram House, which is a pretty well-known spot in Valapad. If you ask anyone around here, they can point you toward the P O Valapad area. It’s the place where the whole finance company started, so it has a lot of history for us. We handle a lot of gold loans and basic money stuff for the local people. It isn't like those big city banks with glass walls and suits. We sit in a regular office and talk to people from the village. On Mondays, it gets really busy with people coming in after the weekend, and the queue can get a bit long. We just try to weigh the gold and get the paperwork done as fast as we can. The building itself is sturdy and has been here for years. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things are here. We know most of the families who come in to see us. It feels more like a community spot than a corporate office. We deal with people’s jewelry and savings, so we have to be careful, but we keep it friendly. It’s a quiet life in Valapad mostly, except when the office is full. We just keep doing our thing at the house, making sure the ledgers are right.
