Lynx Shipping Lines, Chennai has a bit of a confusing name because we are actually located at Thayyalakkal House in Peramangalam. That’s in the Thrissur district of Kerala, 680545. We have some roots in Chennai but this house in Peramangalam is where the daily work happens. It’s a different vibe than a big city office. Working from a house makes everything feel a bit more personal. We deal with shipping lines and all the logistics that go with that. Even though we are in a quieter part of Kerala, we are always connected to the big ports. We spend our days tracking vessels and sorting out customs papers. It’s a lot of back and forth with agents and port authorities. The weather here is beautiful but the monsoons can really slow down the transport links. We just take it as it comes. We aren't a big corporate team with suits and ties. We are just a group of people who know the shipping business well. Most of us grew up around here. We don't use a lot of fancy management speak. We just try to be helpful and get the job done right. People know they can come to Thayyalakkal House and find us working. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the people we help with their shipping needs.
