Lets Donate Foundation

We're over here in Akalad, right on the first floor of the VP Center along the Ponnani Highway. It is not a huge office, just a simple spot where a few of us get together to handle the donations coming in. Things can get a bit cluttered with paperwork sometimes, but we manage. If you are driving by the highway, you might miss the turn if you aren't looking, but we have been at 16/199 for a while now. Most days it is just us answering calls or sorting through what people want to give. We do not have fancy furniture or a big lobby, just some desks and chairs where the work happens. People from the neighborhood know where we are. It is a practical setup because being close to the main road makes it easier for people to drop stuff off without getting lost in the backstreets. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes it feels like there is always more to do than hours in the day. The building is okay, nothing special, but it serves the purpose. We started this because we saw a need around here, and staying local in Akalad seemed like the right move. Usually, there is one of us around during the day, though we step out for errands or lunch sometimes. It is just a plain office where we do our bit for the community.
