Leela Driving Ground

We have our spot in Manakkody, which is a bit outside Thrissur town. It is mostly just an open space where people come to practice. We have been here for years, watching folks try to get their steering right. The ground is flat and has enough room for everyone to move around without hitting anything. It gets dusty in the summer, and when the monsoon hits, it can be a bit of a mess with the mud, but that is just how things go here in Kerala. People from all over the 680620 area come down here. We do not have an office that looks like much, just a small place to sit and some chairs. Usually, it is early mornings or late evenings when it gets busy because the sun is not too hot then. We see people of all ages. Some are nervous, some think they know it all already. We just let them do their thing on the ground. It is a familiar routine for us. The neighbors around Manakkody know us well by now. We have seen the trees grow tall around the perimeter over the decades. It is not a complicated business. We just provide the space and stay out of the way mostly. It is a good, open area with plenty of fresh air. If you are looking for the ground, just ask anyone near the main road in Manakkody, they will point you this way. It is just how we spend our days.
