New Style

New Style is located right at the Kuzhur Junction. It’s easy to find if you are coming through Mala. We have been here for a good amount of time now. It’s just a small local shop, nothing like those big malls you see in the cities. We handle clothes and tailoring mostly. People from the village come in when they need something fixed or a new shirt for a function. We know most of our customers by their first names. Life moves a bit slower here in Kuzhur, which is fine by us. The shop gets a nice breeze in the mornings before the sun gets too hot. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and wait to see who drops by. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the neighbors while working on a hem. It’s a simple setup with a couple of sewing machines and some fabric rolls on the shelves. There is always the sound of traffic from the junction outside. We try to keep things honest and just do the work as it comes. It’s a small family business, really. We’ve seen the junction change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It's just what we do every day. We don't need much else besides our tools and some steady work coming in.
