You’ll find Anto Alukkas Jewellery over in the Alukkas Buildings at Gosaikunnu. We are on the Kuriachira Ernakulam Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot around here. The building has been in the family for a while. We aren't part of some massive chain with thousands of employees. It's just our local shop where we handle jewelry and talk to the neighbors. The road outside is always moving. We see a lot of people heading towards Ernakulam every day. Our shop is a place where people can stop and look at some gold or maybe get a watch fixed. We don't have a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just sell jewelry. Most of the time, we are just sitting behind the counter or checking the books. It’s a quiet life inside the shop, even if the road is noisy. We like the people who come in. They usually have a story about why they are buying something. Maybe it’s a wedding or a gift. We just listen and show them what we have in stock. It’s not a complicated way to run a business. We just try to be fair and keep the doors open. The building is old but it’s sturdy, much like the way we work. It’s our second home really.
