If you are in Thrissur, specifically around the East Fort area, you might have seen the City Castle Building. We are up on the second floor in room 25. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming in through the windows. We’ve been operating out of this room for some time now. It’s a standard setup with some filing cabinets and a few computers that have seen better days. We handle the financial stuff for members of the KPK community and others who joined up. It’s mostly about small savings and giving out loans when someone is in a pinch. We don't do big corporate stuff. Most of our visitors are people from the local market or families living nearby. We spend a lot of our time filling out forms and explaining the rules to people who walk in. It's honest work. Sometimes we run out of tea or the printer jams, but we get through the day. The building itself is easy to find if you know East Fort. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the books are balanced and our members are taken care of. It's a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to sweeping the floor if the cleaner is late. That’s just how we run things in this office every single day.
