Kathiyalam Aashwas Chits Private Limited

Down in Edavilangu, specifically in Gramavedi Nagar, you’ll find our little office. We’ve been running Kathiyalam Aashwas Chits for a while now. Kodungallur is a place with a lot of history, but our day-to-day is pretty modern and basic. We have a small room where we keep all the chit records. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning or leather chairs. We just have what we need to get the work done. People from around Thrissur stop by, often on their way to the market or after work. We know most of the families in Edavilangu. When someone joins a chit, it’s usually because they’ve known us for years or their cousin told them about us. We don’t do any big advertising. The fans keep spinning, and we keep writing in the ledgers. Sometimes the rain hits the roof so hard we have to stop talking for a minute, but that’s just life here. We enjoy the pace. It’s about helping folks save up for a wedding or a new roof without any stress. We aren't trying to be a big city firm. We are just a group of people in Gramavedi Nagar doing our part. It’s quiet, it’s honest, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. There is always a pot of tea around if someone wants to stay and chat.
