Thrissur Printers

Thrissur Printers is located in Patturaikkal, right near Aswini Hospital. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the hospital is. We have a lot of machines running most of the time, so there’s a constant hum in the air. The smell of ink is something we don't even notice anymore, but visitors always mention it. Our shop is filled with stacks of paper and boxes waiting to go out. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a big job on the go. We try to keep the front area clear for people to walk in. Being near the hospital means there’s always people and cars moving around outside. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park right out front. We’ve been printing things here for many years. We know the machines well, even the one that likes to jam every now and then. We just give it a tap and it starts working again. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don't use fancy titles or wear suits. We just wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of ink on. The light in the shop is a bit dim towards the back, so we have extra lamps on the tables. It’s a steady life and we like seeing the finished work come off the press. Our neighbors are friendly too and we often share a quick chat.
