J V Spices

J V Spices is over at 562/3 in Jayam Mudikara. If you know the area, it is not too hard to find. The shop is tucked away a bit and it can get quite busy on the street outside. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the jars and bags. There is always something to be moved or labeled. We don't have a big corporate team, it is just us here every day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the spices to worry about that. It gets noisy with the traffic outside sometimes. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment comes in, the whole place gets a bit chaotic for a few hours. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the books. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and old pens. The smell of cloves and cardamom hangs around even after we close up for the night. My clothes usually smell like it too when I go home. It’s just how it is working in Jayam Mudikara. We don’t do anything fancy with advertising or anything like that. People mostly just find us or hear about us from someone else. It is a lot of standing on your feet and lifting heavy things. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay on top of everything that needs doing.
