Impaxive Consultants is based at Kozhiparambil House in Valapad, which is over in the Thrissur district. It’s a bit of a change from the frantic energy of Kochi. Our office is set up in a residential style because that’s where we are located. It’s a quiet place to work, which is good when you need to focus on consulting details. We don’t have a lobby with a big logo or anything like that. Instead, you just walk in and we’re probably already at our desks working through some files. Valapad is a nice area, and being near the coast means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes. We keep things simple here. There’s no corporate hierarchy or complicated rules. We just have a list of things to get through and we work until they’re done. Often, we’re just chatting about the projects over a quick lunch. The local community is small, and we like being part of it. We’ve been at this address for a while and don't see any reason to move to a big city center. It gives us the space we need to think. People who need our help usually find us through word of mouth. It’s a modest setup but it serves us well. We just focus on the practical side of consulting without any of the extra fluff. It is a peaceful place to spend the work week.
