Our place is located in Mulagunnathu Kavu, which is a small area in the Thrissur district of Kerala. If you know the 680 581 area, you know it’s quite green and beautiful. We are surrounded by trees, and when the monsoon hits, everything turns an even deeper shade of green. The office isn't very large. It’s a simple building that fits right into the local surroundings. We spend a lot of time talking to local folks who stop by to ask questions. There is a small porch where we sit sometimes when the weather is nice. Inside, the floors are tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we tend to track in a lot of mud during the rainy months. We have a few old computers and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything. It’s a peaceful way to work, far away from the noise of the big cities like Kochi or Trivandrum. People here know each other by name, and that’s how we like to keep it. We usually start our day early before it gets too humid. By the afternoon, the fan is always on full blast. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure things get done properly for the homes we look after. It’s a quiet, steady life here in the heart of Kerala.
