Gulf Computers

Gulf Computers is a small operation located in the Geo Building on Post Office Road. Our room number is Tmc 36/2398. It’s a bit of a mouthful to write down, but once you find the post office, we are very close by. We’ve been working with computers here for quite a while. We sell some systems and do a lot of repairs for people in the area. The building is a sturdy one and we have enough space for a few workbenches and a small area where we keep the monitors and CPUs. It’s usually just me and one assistant working through the pile of machines that people bring in. Post Office Road is a familiar landmark for everyone around here, so it’s easy to give directions. We don't do any big advertising. Word just spreads from one person to another when they get their computer fixed and it stays fixed. We have some old posters on the walls and a lot of cables hanging from hooks. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. Sometimes parts are hard to get hold of quickly, so we have to tell people to wait a few days, and they usually understand. We just try to be honest about what can be fixed and what is better off being replaced. It’s a steady business and it keeps us occupied from morning till night.
