We are situated up on the first floor. Gangothri Ayur Consultants isn't a massive health center with hundreds of employees. It is just a few quiet rooms where we talk to people about their health and well-being. The faint smells of various herbs and oils are usually hanging in the air. We have been at this particular address for a long time now. People come up the stairs and often stop for a second to catch their breath before coming in. It is a simple space. We have some heavy wooden furniture and shelves that are full of different traditional products. It is not very modern in its appearance, but it feels right for the kind of work we do here. Poothole Road is always lively and full of noise. We get a lot of sound from the street traffic, but we have gotten used to it over time. We like being in this part of town. Our regulars know the way up the stairs. First-timers sometimes wander around the ground floor for a minute before they see our sign pointing toward the first floor. We do not use any flashy lights or big signs. It is just us doing our consultations and helping the people who walk through our door. It is a steady stream of local life.
