About Dhanakairali Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Thrissur
Bilathikulam Housing Colony is a busy spot. We are in Block 10, specifically Flat No.2811. It is a residential area, so it feels more like a home than a corporate building. Dhanakairali Foundation has been operating out of No. 69/552 for a bit. It’s nice being in a colony because you see your neighbors every day and you know what's happening. The office is basically a flat. We have a small table where we keep the main files. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit cluttered with boxes and old papers. We try to keep things organized, but when you're busy, things just pile up. It’s just how it is. People know where to find us in Bilathikulam. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door opens it. We spend our mornings going through records and the afternoons meeting folks who come by. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, but we've got a desk lamp that helps. It’s a practical space. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment or fancy chairs. Just the basics to keep the foundation moving. Living and working in the same area means we don't have much of a commute. That’s a plus. Sometimes we grab lunch from the small shop around the corner. It’s a quiet life mostly. We just do the work that needs doing. We don't make a big fuss about things. It’s just us here, trying to be useful.
