Devi Homoeo Clinic

In the town of Chalakudy, we have been running Devi Homoeo Clinic for quite some time. It is a small place because homeopathy does not need huge machines or big operating theaters. We have shelves filled with little glass bottles and those tiny white pills that everyone knows. The clinic is right in Chalakudy, so it is easy for local people to stop by while they are doing their shopping or errands. The waiting area is just a few chairs and some old magazines on a table. It is usually quiet here, except for the sound of the rain on the roof during the monsoon season. We take things slow and talk to people about what is bothering them. It is not like those big city hospitals where everyone is rushing. We know the families around here and they know us. The clinic has a specific smell, a bit like alcohol and herbs, which is quite common for a homeo place. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling everything from the door to the consultations. It is a very simple way of working. We stay open throughout the day and sometimes later if someone really needs us. Chalakudy is a good place to be, and we are happy to have our little corner here for the clinic. We keep a handwritten log of everyone who visits us each day.
