We started Demac Roofing Private Limited because people around Thrissur always need something over their heads to keep the rain out. Our office is right there in the Newmalayalam Steel building, door number 2/546/A. If you know the Pallipuram area in Mala, you’ve probably passed us a few times. It isn't a fancy setup, just some desks and a lot of talk about metal and sheets. We spend most of our days dealing with the heat here in Kerala, which gets pretty bad sometimes. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us trying to get things done right. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We’ve been at this for a bit now. The address is a bit long to write out, but it’s easy to find once you are in the neighborhood. We handle a lot of different stuff, mostly whatever comes through the door. It’s hard work, especially when the weather isn’t helping. We just keep moving though. Most of the guys here grew up nearby. We know the roads and we know how the houses are built around here. It’s a local thing, really. Not much more to say than that. We just show up every morning at the Mala office and start the day. That is how it goes.
