Cosbay Exim Private Limited operates out of Poothokaran House, which is located in Vinpy Nagar. It’s in the Paravattani area of Thrissur, not too far from the East Fort post office. Using a house as an office means things feel a bit more relaxed than a big corporate building. We have 2/738 as our main address, and that’s where all the work happens. Thrissur is a busy place, and being near East Fort means there’s always something going on outside the window. We focus on import and export, which involves a lot of back-and-forth with different agents and transport companies. Sometimes the house gets crowded when we have a lot of stuff coming in, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do our job well enough to keep things moving. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down when trucks are coming by to drop off items. It’s a practical setup for us. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just wake up, check the orders, and see what needs to be shipped out that day. It’s a lot of mundane tasks, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait. It is just part of the day.
