We are located at Vazhappilly House, which is house number 6/286 in Koonammoochi. It’s a quiet little place near Kandanassery. We deal with wine here. It’s not like those fancy vineyards you see on TV with rolling hills. We just have our storage and our small workspace. Most of our time is spent keeping track of the bottles and making sure everything is stored the right way. It’s a lot of inventory work. We have to be careful moving things around because glass breaks easily, obviously. We’ve had a few accidents over the years, but you learn from them. The neighborhood knows us as the wine people. We aren't doing any big sales pitches or trying to sound like experts. We just know the trade and we do it from our home base here. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so things are pretty relaxed. We don't wear uniforms. Usually, someone is just in a t-shirt moving boxes around. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. It suits us. We like the quiet of Koonammoochi. It’s a good place to run a business without too much fuss. We just keep our heads down and make sure our customers get what they need when they need it. That’s our day, really. It might not be glamorous, but it is our way of making a living.
