We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time now. It’s a local setup, nothing like the big city agencies with glass walls and expensive coffee. We mostly deal with the day-to-day needs of folks around here and handle the paperwork that keeps everything ticking over. There are three of us usually in the office, and the shelves are pretty packed with folders and samples that have piled up over the seasons. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we're always open. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick in a place like this. When someone walks in, they usually just pull up a chair and tell us what they’re looking for. We listen, see what’s in stock or what we can order, and then we figure out the details together. It’s a very manual process, lots of writing things down in ledgers and checking the back room for boxes. We don't have a fancy website or a computer for every single thing. It’s more about knowing the people who live nearby and making sure we have what they need when they need it. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without any unnecessary complications.
