Down in Thrissur, in the area called Manakkodi, you’ll find our base for Ayga Decorators And Events. We are very close to St Jemma School, so the sound of school bells and kids playing is part of our daily routine. Our place isn't a high-end studio. It’s more of a warehouse and a small office combined into one. We have piles of chairs, rolls of carpet, and boxes of decorative lights stacked up in the back. Most of our time is spent out on the field, setting up tents or arranging flowers at different venues around Thrissur. When we are in the office, we are usually cleaning our equipment or checking our inventory for the next job. It’s physical and sometimes messy work. We don't have a lot of time for polished presentations or fancy brochures. We prefer to just show people what we have and tell them what we can do for their event. The people in Manakkodi know us well, and we often work for the same families over and over again as their kids grow up and get married. It’s a quiet life in this part of town, away from the main city traffic, which we like. We don't use any complicated systems or software. We just have a good memory and a commitment to showing up on time and doing the work. It’s how things have always been done here.
