Athijeevanam Foundation

Athijeevanam Foundation operates out of Moonnuthuruthil House. We are located at Anugraha Nivas, VII/118, in the Anapuzha P O area of Kodungallur. It’s a quiet spot in Thrissur. We’ve been here for a good while, and most people in the village know the house. It’s not a corporate office. It’s a home where we do our work. We started this because we saw things that weren't right and wanted to help our neighbors. There’s usually someone around if you drop by, though we might be out in the field sometimes. We don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy things, so we put everything we have into the projects we take on. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, with paperwork on the dining table and boxes in the hallway. We handle things as they come. There’s no big hierarchy here, just a few of us working together. We talk to people, hear their stories, and try to find a way to make things a bit easier for them. It’s simple, direct work. We don't write big reports or have long meetings. We just decide what needs to be done and go do it. Being in Anapuzha means we are right where the needs are. We like it that way. It keeps us grounded and focused on the real issues people face every day around here. It is just us doing what needs doing.
