Adwa Charitable Foundation

We run Adwa Charitable Foundation from Valiyapurakkal House. We're located in the Anjangadi area, specifically near the Kadappuram P O. If you're coming through Chavakkad via the local roads, you'll find us soon enough. It's a local setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. We've been part of this community for a long time. The house is where everything happens. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big team of experts. It’s mostly family and a few dedicated neighbors who put in the time. We saw a lot of people struggling with basic things and figured we should use what we have to help. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run out of space for all the stuff we collect for people. The floor is usually covered in boxes or bags of things we're sorting through. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Word of mouth is how most folks find out about the foundation. We focus on the practical side of things, like making sure someone has what they need for the week. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit chaotic sometimes. We don't have a formal schedule, we just work until the job is done. Being in Anjangadi keeps us close to the people who actually need the help. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s just a plain house doing plain work.
